As part of the NYS Medicaid Children’s System Transformation, previously carved out OMH and OASAS services will be moving into the Medicaid Managed Care benefit package beginning July 1, 2019:
-Behavioral Health services already in Managed Care for adults 21 and older will be available in Managed Care for individuals under 21
-OMH mental health services for SSI children under 21
-OMH specialty designated clinic services for Medicaid Managed Care enrolled children who have met criteria for a serious emotional disturbance (SED)
-OASAS community based services
-OASAS Residential Redesign
This webinar reviewed billing, utilization management, and allowable service combinations for these services. Please note: This webinar did not address the new CFTSS or Aligned Children's HCBS.
Target audience: OMH and OASAS providers offering services that are carving into Medicaid Managed Care for individuals under 21. For example: PROS, ACT, CDT and partial hospitalization providers, OMH SED clinic providers, etc.
