Structural Racism is the system by which racism is developed, maintained, and protected. It is ingrained within the institutions and policies that govern our daily lives and provides or prevents access to services. This webinar examines structural racism within the field of mental health, and consider how we can develop a more just system for all participants. Behavioral health organizations and practitioners will analyze the impact of structural racism within their work, develop skills to alleviate common barriers to accessing services, and learn how to further racial equity within their organizations. Participants will further understand the link between organizational policies and health outcomes and cultivate action plans for sustainable change.
