Why Youth Peer Advocates

In this two- part series, we discuss the value and importance of Youth Peer Advocate through the lens of multiple groups. In Part One of this two-part presentation, we will explore what research and data tell us about Youth Peer Advocates. Here we will review data collected from interviews with Youth Peer Advocate agencies and families and youth enrolled in the program. In Part Two, we will hear directly from a panel consisting of Youth Peer Advocates, young adults who have received YPA services, a family member, and program managers who will share with you their unique experiences engaging with and providing Youth Peer Support Services.
