Residential Redesign Update Webinar

For those Part 816.9, 819, 819.9,819.10 programs that have not yet submitted Part 820 designation application the Webinar will provide a refresh on the Part 820 residential redesign model, outline lessons learned from those programs that have converted to part 820 , and provide  relevant resources including, but not limited to the application process and billing guidance.


For operational Part 820 programs the webinar will delineate clinical and administrative concepts critical to a successful service delivery system. 

Medicaid Managed Care Enrollment Process Webinar for OASAS Part 820 Programs

OASAS, together with the NYS DOH and Maximus,  reviews the use of the General Medicaid Choice Enrollment Number and the implementation of an expedited Medicaid managed care plan enrollment process for use by OASAS Designated Title 14 NYCRR Part 820 Residential Treatment programs. The webinar will provide: a detailed overview of the policy, the effective date, and the release of the associated guidance document.

BH Provider and Enrollee Contract Protections Refresher

This webinar covered provider contract guidance and Behavioral Health contract protections and prohibitions that are in place for providers. Topics included payment and continuity of care protections, authorization requirements, and best practices for contracting.

NYS BH Value Based Payment Readiness Program: Workplan and Budget Templates

NYS OMH and OASAS provided a summary overview of the BH VBP Readiness Program BHCC budget and workplan templates.

The BHCC budget and workplan templates were: A) sent to the BHCC leads via email on 1/18/18; and, B) will be made available on the VBP BHCC webpage

Audience: BHCC lead, network, and affiliate providers were invited to attend this webinar to ensure they are familiar with these templates, and will be able to submit them as part of the program deliverables.

OASAS 820 Implementation: Chapter 1, Administrative Readiness

This is the first chapter in a video series highlighting Residential Redesign and the implementation process. Providers from two programs, Horizon Health Services and Catholic Family Center, discuss their experiences in transitioning to a Part 820 from an administrative and billing perspective. Topics include educating stakeholders, partnering with MCOs, establishing foundations for billing, and understanding key billing elements.
