Utilization Management for Children and Family Treatment and Support Services: OLP, CPST, and PSR

Billing for Children's System Transformation

These all day in-person trainings reviewed the principles of revenue cycle management, Medicaid provider enrollment, and the billing manual including billing rules for the new Children and Family Treatment and Support Services (state plan services) that are going live January 1, 2019: OLP, PSR and CPST. The trainings also included a field by field walk through of how to submit a clean claim to Medicaid Managed Care Plans and provided an opportunity for MCOs and providers to network.

Children and Family Treatment and Support Services Training

These full day in-person trainings reviewed the Children's System Implementation Timeline and four of the new children’s services: Other Licensed Practitioner (OLP), Community Psychiatric Supports and Treatment (CPST), Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR), and Family Peer Support Services (FPSS).

Audience: Providers serving individuals under 21, who are designated to provide or plan to provide Children and Family Treatment and Support Services (State Plan Services).

Principles of Revenue Cycle Management and Utilization Management

These half day in-person trainings covered the foundational principles of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and Utilization Management (UM). Training reviewed these concepts and how they support efficient and effective billing practices. The presentation also included strategies and next steps in order to help your organization prepare for the transition to Managed Care.  
These trainings did not cover specific state RCM or UM policies. 

Target Audience: Specifically Billing, QA/QI, Compliance, Program Staff and Senior Management.
